Miami, Florida – Today, Integrated Freight Systems (IFS) officially announced that Supply Chain Relationship Management (SCRM) now supports inbound and outbound calls. This enables users to make and receive phone calls directly from SCRM.

“One of the challenges of logistics companies is tracking customer calls. If a company performs its call process manually, it’d have to look at its Excel sheet of customer phone numbers or find emails with signatures. Additionally, using a CRM without call integration, users have to manually dial the number, which is error-prone, and log the call,” said Cristobal Pascual, Chief Product Officer of IFS. He further added, “to address these challenges, we added the functionality to make and receive calls directly in SCRM so calling and logging calls are more convenient for users.”

SCRM’s new call features enable users to call directly from the application. By clicking the call icon near a phone number, SCRM will dial the user’s extension and connect them to the intended contact. The application will also open a call pop-up where the system automatically records call details, such as the point of contact, call duration, status, outcome, date, and time. The form also has a section where users can write notes and schedule a follow-up.

On the other hand, when the user receives a call, SCRM will open a call pop-up where you can also record the call’s details.

These new call features ensure that customer calls are easily recorded on SCRM. Access to call data enables companies to monitor and evaluate customer interactions, identify areas for improvement, and ultimately enhance customer satisfaction and sales.

IFS is working to provide more valuable features and natively integrate more logistics applications in the future. If you have any recommended functionalities or applications to integrate with SCRM, contact us.
