San Antonio, Texas – Integrated Freight Systems (IFS) proudly participated in the 2025 TIA Capital Ideas Conference, held April 9–12 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country. The event brought together logistics leaders to explore timely industry challenges and uncover new paths for growth.

This year’s conference spotlighted pressing topics like freight fraud, AI in logistics, and the operational gaps caused by fragmented software systems. Attendees engaged in sessions on risk mitigation, smarter automation, and multimodal strategies—all while navigating a market demanding tighter margins and greater efficiency.

Phil Magill, co-founder of IFS, shared, “We were the only company at TIA showcasing a true CRM solution for transportation service providers. A number of larger 3PLs—many with proprietary CRMs—expressed strong interest in what we’ve built. They saw real value in how IFS could bring CRM capabilities specific to this market.”

Magill also noted strong interest from software providers. “Several industry-specific TMS vendors told us they lacked any real CRM functionality. They saw a strategic opportunity to partner with IFS and strengthen their offerings through API integration. This is a real shift in how SaaS tools are working together.”

This year marked IFS’s second appearance at the TIA Capital Ideas Conference—and its most successful yet. The team registered over 100 new potential clients and scheduled a record number of product demos, deepening connections across the 3PL landscape.

Sales Manager Alyssa Wright reflected on the evolving needs of logistics teams: “Some of the most interesting conversations I had at TIA centered around freight staffing and how companies are navigating growth during a tough market. With margins tightening and overhead under scrutiny, a growing number of freight and logistics companies are turning to offshore hiring to reduce costs while still driving revenue.”

Wright added that the push for leaner operations is accelerating the demand for unified tools. “In this market, efficiency and visibility are everything. Whether it’s through smarter staffing or more unified tech stacks, companies are looking for sustainable ways to stay competitive and keep the pipeline moving.”

As technology takes center stage in shaping the future of logistics, IFS continues to lead by offering centralized, purpose-built solutions for 3PLs aiming to scale with clarity and confidence.
