Miami, Florida – Integrated Freight Systems (IFS) today announced that Supply Chain Relationship Management (SCRM) now integrates with DAT Freight and Analytics. DAT is a tool that 3PLs often use to find real-time pricing for truckload rates.
"In the logistics business, professionals often look for real-time rates of inland transportation, but it is cumbersome since it's not located within their CRMs or quoting tools. It makes the quoting process longer, decreasing the chances of winning more lanes," said Cristobal Pascual, Chief Product Officer of IFS. He further added, "to overcome this issue, we have integrated DAT with SCRM. This integration helps 3PLs streamline their quoting process, allowing them to create quotes faster and win more lanes.”
The DAT integration allows SCRM to provide real-time truckload rates on the same screen while creating a quote. The rates will be according to the lane information entered and the market conditions for that specific lane. Moreover, the integration allows SCRM to provide the lowest, highest, and average broker-to-carrier and shipper-to-carrier rates. This cost data helps users quickly determine the charges to quote customers.
Integrating DAT with SCRM allows users to save time researching costs for their inland quotes. This is because the integration eliminates the need to login into a separate DAT application to gather the required information, making the quoting process faster and more efficient. As a result, creating quotes more quickly will increase the chances of winning more lanes.
